To start a new week, you should know your next actions. Today I list this weeks’s goals and explain why they don’t seem crazy big. How will I know I’ve won the week? When it’s Saturday and everything I said I’d do got done. Open-ended goals will destroy your soul – I’d rather win.
And I didn’t mention this but what I’m talking about now are activity-goals, not results-goals. In the building phase, it’s pretty much all activity, and the same on a weekly level. Results-goals — income- or client-based — are, at least for me, best thought about in a monthly/quarterly/yearly context.
